Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB), a Govt. of India undertaking is headquartered in New Delhi & has over 900 branches across India.The bank has announced recruitment project 2011-12 for 300 Clerks.

Position – Vacancies – Payscale :

Clerk – 300 posts (across states) – Rs.6200/-/Rs.23900

Dates : Online registration of applications – 9.10.2010 to 8.11.2010

Last date for receipt of application printouts – 15.11.2010

Written test – 30.01.2011

Eligibility : Those interested to apply for clerk jobs in Punjab & Sind bank ,

* be within 18 - 28 years of age, as on 30.09.2010

* should have secured min. 60% marks in 12th OR Degree from a recognized university, as on 30.09.2010

* able to read/ write/ speak the language of the state applying for.

* certificate in computer operations from a reputed institute OR must have studied computer sciences as subject in degree level.

Selection: It involves Written test & Interview.The Written test has Objective test (Reasoning ability,Numerical ability,English language,Clerical aptitude,Computer knowledge) & Descriptive test.For each wrong answer, negative marks would be awarded.Shortlisted candidates from the written test would be called for Interview.
