Post - Vacancies - Payscale :

Clerks – 1246 posts (across all states) – Rs.4410-13210

Officers - (Civil engineer – 4posts, Electrical engineer -3 posts ,Architect – 2posts) –Rs.10000 – 18240. (salary of bank employees are to be revised)



Dates: Online registration starts from 25.01.2010 (January 25th 2010)

Online registration closes on 18.02.2010

Date of Written Exam – 04.04.2010 (April 4th 2010)



Eligibility : Candidates interested to apply for Clerk post in Punjab national bank,
Qualification * Should be a graduate (any degree) with 50% or above marks
* Working knowledge of computers(MS-Office) is necessary.
Age limit should be within 20 - 25yrs only
Test centre * candidates can apply for vacancy in any 1 state & must write exam from the centre of that state only.
* local language of the chosen state is desired.

candidates must posses degree certificates as on jan 25,2010



Officer Positions: Candidates applying for officer posts(civil engineer,electrical engineer & architect) in PNB must posses , posted at www.bankexamsindia.com

* BE/B.tech in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university & must have minimum 1yr work experience in their respective field of study

* B.Arch degree & minimum 1 yr work experience is required for Architect post.



Selection : The selection process for Punjab national bank recruitment – clerk posts will have objective tests on Reasoning, Test of english, Quantitative aptitude,Marketing & Computer.The descriptive test will be based on english composition.We will post a detailed analysis of preparing for pnb recruitment & patter of selection ,later on.



Application : for Clerk posts – Rs.300 (Gen/OBC) & Rs.50 (sc/st)

for officer posts – Rs.400 (Gen/OBC) & Rs.50 (sc/st)

Must be paid in cash at any Punjab National Bank branch before February 18th 2010 ,using the challan given at pnbindia.com site.The transaction number of payment has to be entered in the application form & submitted online before the last date.
