NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development) extends facilities for developmental purposes to agriculture,small scale industries

& allied industries.Apart from this, it also assists other banks in rural development.NABARD has recently announced recruitment for

162 Development Assistants.

Post – Vacancies – Pay scale :

Development Assistant – 162 posts – Rs.5450/-/ 14200

Dates: Online registration of applications – 15.3.2011 to 5.04.2011

Written exam – 22.05.2011

Eligibility: Those interested to apply for NABARD DA recruitment ,

* Between 18 - 26 yrs of age, as on 1.03.2011

* Must have bachelor`s degree from recognized university, as on 1.03.2011

* Knowledge in computer operations is required

* Should be a resident of the state applying for.

Selection: For development assistant posts, the bank would conduct Written test (objective & descriptive) followed by Interview for those shortlisted.The total score for objective test is 200 marks, 0.25 will be reduced for wrong answer.

Application: Fees of Rs.250 (Gen/OBC) & Rs.50 (SC/ST) has to be paid at any SBI branch with the challan, before April 5, 2011.After payment, candidates have to apply online through www.nabard.org & take a printout of the submitted form (not to be sent by post)
