A : You can apply to any one State which has vacancies (given in advertisement) only. Also the candidate must sit for written exam only in that specific state`s test centre.

Q:Should I know the local language of the state applied?

A: It is NOT mandatory to know the language of that state, but preference would be given to those who have a good knowledge in that local lang. Apart from this, candidates should be able to read,write & speak in English.
