Q : What are the educational qualifications required to apply ?

A : Candidates interested to apply for these clerk posts in Allahabad bank must have scored atleast 60% aggregate(55% for SC/ST/PC) in HSC/10+2 exam OR should have a Degree from a recognized university.



Q : Is Computer certificate/ knowledge necessary ?

A : Candidates from all categories must have certificate in computer operations from institutes like NIIT, SSI, Aptech, MICE, STQC, CMC OR certificate from DOEACC (O/A/B/C level) OR should have studied Computer science (covering Word, Excel, Access) as one of the subject in degree/college .



Q: Should I know the language of the state applied for ?

A: Yes.Candidates should know to read/write/speak the language of the state for which they apply.(state vacancies given in the notification).



Q: Can I apply to any state with vacancies & where would be the exam centre?

A: Allahabad bank has clearly mentioned that,candidates can apply to any one state for which vacancies has been advertised & exam will be conducted in the centre of that selected state only.


Q: When will i get the call letters for written test ?

A: All eligible candidates will receive their call letters by ordinary post by March 6th 2010,says the bank.
